Intergroups Liaison Officer

As Intergroups Liaison Officer, Richard works to encourage intergration between different groups of the Ramblers Association. His role is to:

• Act as the Group’s first point of contact with other groups within the Ramblers Association and also other groups that our group may associate with from time to time.
• Liaise with the Group's Walks Secretary or Social Secretary to make sure that joint events run with other groups appear on both groups' programmes.
• Encourage the Committee and other members of the Group to organise joint events with other groups.
• Attend meetings of the Surrey Area Executive Committee from time to time.
